Second Coming, yo.

Sun Apr 22, 2007, 5:56 PM
Fuck whores.

I'm baaaaaack.

Though, I'm not coming back on this deviant page, as I've gotten th other one moving, and I'm trying to commit to updating it, the problem being my being lazy and taking frequent hiatuses.
Haitus?
Hiati?

Whatever. I'm back. And most of you missed me. (If you didn't it's because you're gullible and won over with lies.)

As a warning, any comments I may find even nearly unacceptable on my deviant will be reported as malicious commenting. So post nice, post not at all, or post and be shot down in flames.

Works in Progress

Tue Jan 16, 2007, 12:56 PM
As of today, I've nearly finished my first sculpture in my Living Theatre series. I've the wire skeleton, tissue, plaster and mask all in place. I need to finish painting and assemble a few more parts including a base and a minature human skull, but it's coming along much quicker than I anticipated.

I've already got the wire skeleton for the second scupture complete.

Tomorrow, I'll be taking some photos and uploading, to start a sort of progress journal. This may be a project I carry beyond the minimum two for my class.

Thanks to Jess and a few others for inspiring these sculptures. Much appreciated.

Happy Red-Suited Fatman Day!

Mon Dec 25, 2006, 8:51 AM
So I suppose I'm to make an obligatory 'Merry Christmas" entry, yes?

No. No, I think not. Christmas is evil. Can't spell SANTA without S-A-T-A-N. Seriously, check. You really can't. :)

I kid.

Happy Non-Secular Celebration. Or Merry Christmas if you're the religious/apathetic sort. :D

And for the record, I both started and finished reading Fight Club in the past 24 hours. I am now halfway through 'How to Expand Love' by the Dalai Lama.

I enjoy both immensely.

I'm Not Dead!

Tue Dec 12, 2006, 12:36 PM
'Ere, he says he's not dead.

Right. Anyway, I've been working a good deal lately (with little to show for it, having lost a project worth 20% of my english mark). Near on 40 hours of work this week, along with 30 hours of school, and then homework and painting on top of that, which is another few hours each night before I actually get to rest for a little while. In fact, I leave for work in twenty minutes.

This leaves little time for Ryan to sleep, but I'll be able to buy people things for Christmas. And if I keep it up, within a month and a half after the holidays, I'll have a new computer, which is always grand. Or a grand. Or both.

Anyway, just letting you know that last mediocre oil painting I did wasn't all I've done lately. Work, school, time with Jess when I'm not doing any of the previously mentioned, and then sometimes I sleep. I do have another oil painting on the way, though. I got back into the feel of the stuff doing that last one, so this one ought to be a bit better. For those of you that've known me long enough, you'll probably recognize the picture when I post it. But for now, I'm going to eat the first actual meal I've had today, and down a glass of tea.

(Sidenote: I did eat earlier. I just don't qualify one of those cans of fruit cocktail as a meal)

Oil painting half-done. But I'm english now, and bored.

Hooray for lack of productivity!
